Harbor Beach Fishing Report 08/09/2017

Nice Lake Trout

Lake Trout continue to be taken straight out and North of the harbor in the 130-150 foot of water areas using dodgers with spin and glows or fly’s and spoons close to the bottom.

Steelhead, and Atlantic’s have been taken out in 130 to 145 foot of water using clean spoons off the downriggers and the Offshore boards using bright colored spoons. Try the 3,5, and 10 colored lead lines.

Walleye have been taken in 30 to 45 foot of water North of the harbor using worm burners, Hot and Tots, and thunder sticks. Some have also been taken out in the 130-140 foot of water areas.

Bass are in close to shore try casting body baits for best results.

Harbor Beach fishing report 8/02/2017

Still Catching Walleye

Walleye continue to be taken in the 25 to 45 foot of water areas straight out and North of the harbor.  Best baits have been the worm burners, thunder sticks, and Hot and Tots. Purple, perch, and green colors have been working well.

Lake Trout have been taken out in the 120 to 150 foot of water areas straight out and North of the harbor using dodgers with spin and glows and spoons close to the bottom.
A few Steelhead are being taken out by the color lines using bright colored spoons off the boards.
Bass continue to be taken in closer to shore casting small body baits.

Harbor Beach Fishing Report 07-25-2017

Nice 20# Lake Trout

There have been some nice Lake Trout taken out in the 140 to 150 foot of water areas North and straight out from the harbor.  Best colors have been green and white, purple, black, and white with pink dot spin and glows behind a dodger run close to the bottom. Spoons off the downriggers have also been working.

A few Steelhead are being taken out near the color lines using bright colored spoons off the boards on the 3,5,7,and 10 color lead lines.
Some Walleye are still being taken in the 25 to 45 foot of water areas North of the harbor, using worm burners, hot and Tots, and thunder sticks.  If it slows down, try moving out to some deeper water, there have been a few taken out in 75-120 foot of water as well.
Bass continue to be taken in closer to shore casting body baits.

Harbor Beach Fishing Report July 19, 2017

Some Walleye continue to be taken North of the harbor in 25 to 40 foot of water.  Try worm burners, Hot and Tots, and thunder sticks.  Best colors have been purple, and perch colors.

For Lake Trout try out in 120 to 140 foot of water areas straight out and North of the harbor using dodgers with spin and glows close to the bottom.  Green and white and white with pink dots are working well.
Try for Steelhead out around the color lines using bright colored spoons on the 3, 5, 7, and 10 color lead lines.
Bass continue to be taken in closer to shore casting body baits.
